Reflections in BlaQ (Work in Progress), 2017

Reflections in BlaQ is a multimedia performance that explores the lives and dreams of Black queer, gender nonconfomring, and trans people using storytelling, installation, and archival material. The project is based on my critical and creative engagements with artist and scholar Marlon Riggs' archive at Stanford University.

Works-in-progress presenations  have been presented at  The 8th Floor for the Voices = Survival exhibition hosted by Visual AIDS and the Center for African American Poetry and Poetics at the University of Pittsburgh.
